About the Service

Legal Injury Network is a national information and referral service for auto accident victims. We are not a law firm. Our role is to help injured people understand their options and connect them with qualified attorneys who can evaluate their case at no cost.
No. Legal Injury Network is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We provide general information about the legal process following an auto accident and connect users with licensed attorneys in our network. An attorney-client relationship is only established when you retain an attorney directly.
Legal Injury Network operates in all 50 states. Our attorney network includes licensed personal injury attorneys across the country who are experienced in the laws of their specific state or states.

The Process

You can submit your case using our online intake form on the Start a Claim page. It takes approximately five minutes to complete and asks about the type of accident, injuries sustained, the state where the accident occurred, and your current situation. You can also call us at 406-743-3609.
Most clients receive an attorney connection within 24 hours of submission. Our intake team reviews each case manually before making a referral. In some cases, especially those marked as urgent, the response time may be shorter.
You will receive contact information for a qualified attorney in our network who handles your type of case in your state. The attorney will reach out to schedule a free consultation. During that consultation, the attorney will evaluate your case and explain your legal options. There is no obligation to retain the attorney.
You are under no obligation to retain any attorney we refer. If you have concerns about a referred attorney or the referral process, please contact us at mycase@legalinjnet.com and we will work to address the situation.

Costs & Fees

No. Using Legal Injury Network to submit your case and receive an attorney referral is completely free. There are no hidden fees, no subscription charges, and no costs at any point in the referral process.
All attorneys in our network handle personal injury cases on a contingency fee basis. This means they only receive a fee if they obtain a financial recovery for you — either through a settlement or a court judgment. There are no upfront charges. The fee is typically a percentage of the recovery amount, which will be disclosed and agreed upon before you retain the attorney.
If your case does not result in a financial recovery, you typically owe no attorney fees. The specific terms of the contingency arrangement will be explained by the attorney before any engagement. We require all network attorneys to provide clear, written fee agreements to their clients.

Your Case

Statutes of limitations vary by state and by the type of claim. Most states allow between one and three years from the date of the accident to file a personal injury lawsuit. However, some claims — particularly those involving government entities — require action much sooner. Acting quickly is always advisable. Do not assume you have time to spare.
Many states allow injured parties to recover even if they were partially responsible for an accident. The specific rules depend on your state's comparative or contributory negligence laws. Do not assume you have no case because you believe you were partially at fault. An attorney review will clarify your situation.
You should preserve all photographs of the accident scene, vehicle damage, and visible injuries. Keep all medical records, bills, and treatment notes. Retain copies of the police report, insurance correspondence, and any written statements from witnesses. Avoid posting about the accident on social media. An attorney can advise you further on evidence preservation specific to your case.

Privacy

Yes. Legal Injury Network takes privacy seriously. Your submission is shared only with the attorney or legal resource we match you with as part of the referral process. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third-party marketers. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Submitting information to Legal Injury Network does not notify your insurance company or affect your rates. We are not affiliated with any insurance carrier. Whether and when to notify your insurance company is a separate decision that an attorney can advise you on based on your specific policy and circumstances.
